Is this suitable for residents in memory care?
Yes. Denise adapts each project so residents of all ability levels can participate comfortably and successfully. Projects can be simplified without ever feeling childish — every resident creates something they're proud of.
Why is the demo session paid?
Because it's a complete, full-quality session — real materials, real instruction, real finished pieces for up to 15 residents. And when you join a subscription, every dollar of the demo fee is credited toward your plan. You risk nothing by trying us.
What do you need from our staff?
A room with tables and chairs, and a list of participating residents. That's it. We handle setup, instruction, materials, and cleanup from start to finish.
Are you insured and background-checked?
Yes. Colorful Living LLC carries general and professional liability coverage appropriate for on-site work in senior care settings, and our staff complete Massachusetts CORI background checks. We're happy to provide certificates of insurance and add your community as an additional insured.
Is this art therapy?
No — and we're careful about that distinction. Colorful Living provides recreational wellness activities, like a yoga class or a gardening club. Our sessions are designed for enjoyment, creativity, and social connection, not as medical treatment or clinical therapy.
